S/S 2000 Jean Paul Gaultier Mesh and Muslin Two-piece M
Couldn't load pickup availability
Inspired by television series 'The Love Boat' that aired from 1977 to 1986, Jean Paul Gaultier's spring summer 2000 ready-to-wear collection was what American Vogue called "a campy cruise", consisting of vacation wear such as striped tops and bold silk screen prints of faces set to models with 1970s hairstyles and long cigarette holders. This two-piece, featuring a voluminous maxi skirt in muslin and a long-sleeved mesh top with cuffs as well as hem matching the skirt, is adorned with the faces in bold colours that the collection has become known for.
The original tags have been removed, although the size corresponds to a modern small to medium, as the size is flexible due to the elasticity of the fabric. Please refer to measurements for the right fit. The model is a size s and wears the outfit unpinned.
This is in very good overall condition, although please note that this is a vintage item and may present with minor signs of wear consistent with age and use.
