80's Yves Saint Laurent "Rive Gauche" Checkered Cotton Trousers S

These 1980's Yves Saint Laurent "Rive Gauche" cotton trousers featured a high waist fit and a straight leg fit that falls just around the ankles. The trousers feature classical tailored pleating along the front and and back seam, as well as back pockets and belt loop holes. The small checker print adds depth and whimsy to an otherwise minimalist pair of trousers. 

The original size of the trousers is an Italian 40, which corresponds to a modern-day S, but please refer to the measurements for the right fit.

This item is in very good overall condition, although please note this is a vintage item with some signs of wear consistent with age.
