Rare 1940s Princeton Varsity Basketball Knitted Cardigan L

A rare knitted cardigan made for the Princeton basketball varsity team in heavy, high quality pure wool that is stretchy. This item is from the 40s and features a design and quality characteristic of the time; a style that has since been copied by numerous designers. A heavy patch has been attached to the side as well as two yellow and navy strips on one sleeve. Large cream-colored buttons match the base of the knit.

There is no size label available, however, it would fit a men's small to large, depending on desired fit. The model is a small and wears the cardigan unpinned.

This piece is in excellent condition for its age, although please note that this is a vintage item and may present with minor signs of wear, consistent with age and use.
